Also included is a recommended hourly rate so you can accurately figure prices for any sewn item such as home decorating accessories, crafts, children's clothes, uniforms, costumes, etc.
  • Do I need an industrial machine? Absolutely not- this is one of the advantages.  You can start a business with the equipment you have for your own sewing. The only exception would be for heavy draperies or bulky fabrics used in upholstery that would require a heavy duty machine.
