Fiskars Oval Border Punches - How to use

If a circle just won't do, use the oval template to make an oval and give it a lacy, patterned border

How to use: Use the enclosed template to trim out the size oval you need. 6" or 7"
Start with your punch on a craft mat to make sure you don't scratch your table. Line up a tick mark with the end of the raised ridge on the left side of the punch, keeping the oval flush with the back wall (7" oval) or ridge (6" oval) and punch.
Don't pull the oval out! Slide it counter-clockwise until the newly-punched pattern lines up with the printed pattern on the base and punch again.
Repeat the previous step. You should now have half of your oval punched. Rotate the oval to start the process again for the other side.

This punch can be used on heavy card stock,

but we recommend 65 lb. card stock to get the

best results.
